REM Announces Selection by TIG Insurance Company (“TIG”) for Workers Compensation Claims Management Services

REM is pleased to announce its selection as the provider of Workers Compensation claims management services to TIG. Upon completion of rigorous, joint transition planning, REM will assume servicing responsibility for the substantial majority of pending TIG Workers Compensation claims by year-end, as well as newly reported claims. Information technology services, including REM’s illuminsm suite of RMIS tools, along with other related loss cost management services, will form a package of total claims solutions to TIG.

TIG, a Fairfax Financial Group company, entered run-off beginning December 2002 and is among the discontinued operations managed by the RiverStone Group, also a Fairfax company.
