REM CUSTOMER ALERT - SECTION 111 REGISTRATION DEADLINE
In the past few months our customers have been notified via email and placement of reminders on our website, concerning the need for companies to consider their organization's role in the RRE registration process which is essential for compliance with the new Medicare, Medicaid and SCHIP reporting laws and regulations.
In addition, REM and Gould & Lamb, our preferred compliance vendor, hosted several Webinars to provide additional guidance in understanding this complex process involving registration and mandatory reporting. The failure to comply may result in significant fines.
Today's notification is to once again advise you of the 9/30/09 RRE Registration deadline.
It is vital that companies that have not yet registered or who have not yet had a conversation with their carrier concerning where the registration responsibility lies do so as quickly as possible.
For customers who have completely registered, please advise us of such and provide your RRE number.
